your stock rolla has 1 7/8" so you would really just be doing stock piping..... just my $.02

I'd personally go with 2.25" piping though, especially if you plan on adding more performance mods in the future (header, high flow cat, intake, etc.)

It's not "bad" at all, just a slightly bigger stock pipe. It's "good" enough if you don't have much mod like others said.
But aren't you have turbo man?? Go for 3" !!! :D

If you are going to stay stock 2" is good, if you want to see some gains in your car go with 2.5".

for our displacement, 2.25'' is pretty much ideal with a NA engine set up, 2.5'' at most if you have a heavily modded engine

exactly. I saw this one comparison thing where it says what the biggest size pipe you should have depending on your engine. I believe the largest for ours is 2.25" and that seems ideal.

why go cat-back... when you can do a straightpipe. it's easier to doo too. all you gotta do is take out the big long pipe, bang out the cat, and then stick a pipe inside where the cat would be and weld that up. Then you'll have a straightpipe. I did that (except for welding the inner pipe) and it seems to run fine. and it looks stock. no power seems to be lost, but i regret that it's sooooo loud.

2" should be fine. I'm thinking 2 1/2 might be good also cause your turbo'd if I'm correct.

You live in L.A., right? Don't you have some of the strictest emissions standards there?

Yeah in So Cal we have strict emmision standard FEES and shitty air.

I agree that you don't need piping bigger than the nearly 2" stock unless you go turbo. Buy a performance muffler. That's way better bang for the almighty buck than a cat back.

2.25 fo sho. You'll lose some low end torque and slightly gain some higher rpm power. It won't be a power increase that'll have you beating cars you got walked by before, but it'll be something nonetheless.

I have got 2.25 inch from the catback going into a glasspack muffler (resonator) to a TRD muffler and I have not lost any low or mid torque but the butt dyno says that I have gained some
