Its pretty similar to Vamps better RAI. The only difference is that I used PVC pipe instead of exhaust pipe after the rubber elbow. Its pretty easy to do, and its a good, cheap alternative to trying to find a CAI for the rollas.

If it wasn't noticable I'd be the first to say it, but honestly it feels better compared to the SRI I used to have. Once I'm up to about 40 mph or so and in the upper rpm's theres a difference.

I did the same thing. It's definately louder. I took off the second lower 90* bend and the longer PVC extension (piece that makes the air 'ram in') because I think it's kind of unecessary. Air gets sucked in no matter what.

btw, first time pinching off the front bumper bracket square connector piece is a major PITA.

    Looking nice.

Would I be able to find a DIY on this anywhere, I'm low on money. So if I could do this it would help alot.

    Vamp's website has the DIY.

Agreed! But thats the only hard part, everything else is easy. If I ever decide to take the PVC off I won't have to take the bumper off again, thank god.

I noticed you have the same 'happy face' bumper as my '99. So your PVC doesn't line up with the bumper opening, right? In the heat of the moment I Dremeled a disgusting hole in my bumper that aligns with the pipe; not one of my better ideas. Now it's not even a functional hole since I took off the longer pipe. Quoth deebs: D'oh!

The prizm has a slightly different bumper, more like an expressionless face, but yeah, it doesn't line up. For mine the pipe doesn't go all the way to the bumper, but I figure its still getting airflow, a "ram" effect if you will. Plus, with a slightly shorter pipe I don't really need to fasten it to anything, its not going to go anywhere.
