    Found new parts for 1zz-fe's

After doing a google search for celica gt drivetrain parts, I came across a few interesting finds.

TODA has a lightweight flywheel, and 11:1 high compression pistons for the 1zz-fe. They may also have a clutch package.

    JUN has a lightweight flywheel.

TRD has a race and street clutch for the celica gt

Crower has a stage 1, 2, and 3 camshaft for the 1zz-fe. The stage 1 is supposed to street orientated, emphasizing bottom-mid range power, while stage 2 and 3 are race cams.

This was like 3 minutes into the search. I'll bet there's a ton more aftermarket by major companies.

if you were looking for cams the crower are probably your best bet. The cams that MWR are designing are made for the 7-8 thousand RPM range, which means LOTS of motor work.

What would you need other than valves, valve springs, and rods (and engine management)?

It's a lot more work than it's worth. Your gearing would be WAY off.

I'm not saying it's worth doing..I'm just wondering what else you'd have to do with the motor..and I couldn't think of anything else.

Then again, by that logic..(more work than it's worth), we wouldn't be modifying Corollas. :p
