    Strut mount nuts

the nuts that go on the top of the strut shaft are supposed to be torqued to 30 ft/lbs, right? is there anything special that needs to be done to keep it from coming loose? i know that theyre supposed to have a special thread to keep it from backing out, but i'm not sure if there is something special i need to do to insure that they work right.

just torque it down and it'll be fine. The weight of the car is always resting on the top hat anyways, there barely any bovement to make them come out. To be honest I dont even bother torqueing those down.
