    call me a noob if it sounds dumb that i dont know this but dose the 'CE" and "Toyota" badge on a 998 corollas trunk come off easily or is it bolted on there.

    they're just stuck on... i debadged mine in about 35 minutes with DenverRolla down at his work... pulled it, scraped the adhesive off with a plastic razor then i used rubbing compound and machine glaze to clean up the leftover and polish out any imperfections.

    yep. pretty easy to do. I used some Goo Gone (not too much it dulls the clear coat), floss, and then some wax to clean off the Goo Gone residue.

    Not a newbie question at all bro...alot of times it's very hard to tell if the emblem is pop-riveted from the back or just stuck on with adhesive. When I went to change the emblems on the firebird...I called a dealership and asked one of the part's guys just to be safe.

    I thought CE only comes in 01+? Isn't 98-00 has VE?

    98-00 -> VE,CE & CE Touring,LE & LE Touring

    The touring package was compiled into a complete offering in 01+ which became the S, Victory Edition (VE) was dropped when S was added)

    01-02 -> CE,S,LE

    i wish i can find those factory white face gauges they had on the tourin edition. Man those are rare.
