ok maybe not death, but im scared to get lowering springs because of how low my damn kit is already, its about a middle fingers length from the ground as is, obviosly this is because my springs in the back are sagging ( i am aware of the fact the rear wheel well is shorter) but my question is if i get aftermarket lowering springs is it possible that my rear will stay the same (since its technically lowered) and my front will lower or that my rear will actually sit a few centimeters higher?

My guess would be that the rear would go down a little but probably not as much as the front if its already sagging because the aftermarket springs will be stiffer.

Doesn't look THAT low to me. I'll bet a 2" drop would be your max. 1" would be perfect.

my rear end is fine 4 me right now, but i dont want it to drop down tooo much lower if i get springs cus ill destroy my bumper,

Are you using aftermarket springs, or is it still stock springs?

no these are stock springs, im askin u guys if aftermarket springs will lower my rear end alot more than it already is (since they sag)

With 185/60/14s and an Intrax drop (1.8" front/rear), the top of my rear tire is about flush with the bottom of the fender. I have maybe 1 1/2 fingers of room up front.

dude, you can definitley go lower, i would highly recommend it, I have a 2" drop with the same kit and it sits just fine! no Problems.

i have the same rear as you, 17" rims, and i sit like a little over 4 inches off the ground

you can sit as low as you want... but i understand his worry... most cars you see with a low kit on them, when you go up close to them they have paint chips all over from scrubbing. but it just depends how you drive mostly.

yea i didn't mean to sound like i was trying to pick a fight or anything... don't want to be dubbed "hater/flamer"

but be careful with that kit once you paint it! its depressing to see even small rock chips................... atleast it is for me, and i baby my car; no racing or nothing

oh i wasnt going in that direction, just stating, i know what you mean about the rock chips, even though my car is primered for now, my front has them everywhere, and i baby mine, when i do get it painted, in getting more coats of paint on the lower lip of my front and sides, so its harder to chip

um... what rock chips? I don't see any.

I got chips showing up like that too, its even worse though because my body kit was green orignally so it really sticks out.

Ya, its an eyesore for me cause the area where the paint are chipped are white and it stands out on a dark colored car.

i have a very Very small amount... not noticeable in any pics or noticeable unless your 6" from the car. but it takes a lot of carefulness and.... carefulness

I haven't had any problems with chipping, even before my gunmetal paint job. If the bumper is properly primered and given a good layer of clear, it'll hold up well.

i have metalflakes so my car has many additional layers of clear, maybe this'll help out with eliminating chipping

LOL... well surprisingly I don't have problems scraping all that much. Where I drive on a daily basis I know every dips and humps on the road so I know what to avoid. The only time I scrape is when I get careless and drive over a speedbump too fast. I drive through construction daily to go to school so it has been a beating for my front bumper.

Yeah lol I'm not sure my painter even did prime it. It took him 1.5 months to paint my car and I'm still trying to get him to wet sand out the imperfections that he shouldve done months ago.
