    Your bars will hit before your suspension hits the bumpstops?

    People have jumped stock Tacomas (pics over at TTORA)...ever consider a different truck? :D Unless by 'big jump' you mean 'cliff', I think you're pretty much set.

    I don't dare to run mine hard, though -- half of my leaf springs on the passengers' side are broken..heh.

    Factory Tacoma leaf springs aren't known for long life..I have over 170,000 miles on the truck.

    My shiny new set of Alcans will fix 'em, though. ;)

    Yeah...but my nerf bars are only held on by 2 pair of bolts, directly to the frame...plus they are hollow steel. So anything real big would probably bend the bars straight up and crush my lower door panels. Then go ahead and destroy everything else.

    And what's it to you if I want to run my truck off a cliff. :p :p :p

    Haha - I was asking if that's how big the 'jump' would have to be in order to hit the bars.. :p
