    Resolving forum related disputes

If a dispute arises that directly correlates to the working of this community and forum, shouldn't discussion and debate (civil, levelheaded debate) not only be allowed and tolerated, but encouraged? While this forum is the sole property of one person, it essentially exists to serve Us, the members, in the best way possible. Therefore, if something occurs that affects one member, and could essentially effect others in the future, shouldn't discussion of this event be legal and threadworthy?

The problem with *some* disputes is that people who aren't involved start getting at each others throats, in that case, it's best for the involved parties to resolve their dispute in private.

Hes probably referring to Phozenstones thread, that was rudely locked, thus preventing anyone from finding out the outcome of the transaction. It was a civil conversation until someone came in yelling at everyone to mind their own business.

I said what I said in the nicest way, I didn't mean anything negative or nothing, just wanted to open the mods mind to a new point of view, maybe

Interesting, E, I didn't realize that you could literally raise your voice and "yell" via internet text.

I don't promote the duping of buyers on vvt-i.net. I pointed out the hasty condemnation of a seller. Multiple users suggested that the party involved resolved the matter themselves, as well as giving the seller a week to sort it out.

But this didn't happen. It's been damn near a week and we know what should have happened hasn't happened. I'm NOT changing my stance - Wednesday was different than today. When I posted it was not hopeless. Now it has been proven that attempts to contact him are fruitless.

I agree with E (for once) on this.

    Its a figure of speech

Yes, but many of us (the long term members) know about his previous shady tactics, and I was done giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Hes a dead beat seller, and the bad transactions completely overshadow his good transactions. Last year he created an entirely new screen name on the other board to deveive people, sold some stuff, then didnt deliver. I called him out on it in private, and he made right with the buyers, only after I caught him in his lies.

So does anyone know him personally? I don't know if that would do any good, but if they were pretty close with him they could try to convince him or something.

The Boston Strangler was probably cool with alot of people too. Most of us here have known him from all the years we've been on here.

Hes been shady in the past, and hes shady now. Hes logged in, and hasnt replied to any of this yet.

I shouldve left him out to dry last year when he created a new screen name to deceive people.

It seems that he has a good run, then a bad run, then a good run, then a bad run in terms of transactions.

I have to disagree... This board has REALLY slowed down. Also, its sad bickering back and forth about how shady Tommy is (which I agree, he is) has been one of the top topics for a while.

Corolla Customz is better than this place in terms of a laid-back but also constructive envioroment. There are other forums as well.

Sadly, as good as this place was at first... It give it a thumbs down.

Sean, you should just stop making posts/telling people you're going to leave...because YOU, of all people, know it'll never happen.
