Help with finding brake booster line in a 93-97 Corolla

I bought a can of Seafoam, but have yet to use it. From what I remember from reading on the old VVTi, there is a line somewhere on the right side by the firewall, that is rubber but becomes metal. I looked today, but couldn't find it. Can someone post a pic of it? Or would it help if I posted a pic and you guys can point it to me? Thanks

Its coming out of the brake master cylinder and goes to the intake manifold, someone correct me if I'm wrong. If you don't know where it is you might be better off putting it in through the pcv valve, I hope you know where that is.

Haha, nope, complete car n00b here. My aprents and I always take our cars to dealership or mechanic for anything. But since I'm away for college, thought I try doing somethings myself.

I'd suggest going to a parts store and picking up the haynes manual for the 93-97 corolla. You could probably learn a lot but it also has a picture of the engine compartment and points some of this stuff out.

That big round black thing is the brake booster. See that little grey plastic fitting right down and left of the letters "C4"? That's where the vacuum line connects.

BTW, This is from an '03 Matrix but it should look aweful close to yours.

That's the vacuum hose. Just make sure that you don't damage the hose or you'll be worse off than what the can of SeaFoam will do. Also be a good idea to check and see if the SeaFoam will harm the rubber hose. Some hoses are safe from petroleum products - others are not. Just remember that a can a SeaFoam will not fix any mechanical problems - and if the car was sitting for as long as you say - I'd definitely look into other maintenance items that start with the SeaFoam.

    Good Luck.

You just took three different pictures of the hose in question. The rubber hose that is connected directly to the brake booster (kind of the letter "P" shaped). Just follow that hose all the way to the intake manifold. At the end, there might be another rubber hose that is hooked right up the intake manifold. Will be mcuh easier to pull the SeaFoam through that. If in doubt - don't do it. Although it takes a lot of fluid - you could run the risk of hydrolocking the cylinder, then you would be really screwed.
