looks good, nice and clean. love the Zenki lights, JDM bumper, and "C" grill.(damn i just looked at your cardomain and realized you guys get the JDM lights, grill and bumper stock!!) all you need now is a TRD triangluated tower bar, and JDM tails (both of which now i might have for sale)

BTW what skirts is that? 8th gen? and the seats... those come from sportivo?

Thanks man. Yeah I've been looking for one of those TRD 3-point strut bars for ages. I actually PM'ed you about it a little while ago on another forum. I know a guy over here who makes custom made 3-point bars for Corollas. They don't look quite as nice as the TRD one, but would still do the same job. If you've got a TRD one for sale send me a PM for a price and I'll see if I can afford it :). About the JDM tail lights, I've always liked my ones better to be honest. The dark red/white ones have never really been a favourite of mine. They're extremely easy to get over here however. I'm selling a C grille at the moment if you know anyone who is keen. Can also get the JDM headlights and side lights.

The sideskirts aren't off anything as such, they are fibreglass sideskirts that I managed to get cheap brand new off someone who sold their car before they had a chance to put them on. They got them from some performance shop over here about a year ago. As for the seats, they're out of a 1993 Sprinter GT (same shape as a Geo Prizm in the states, except it has factory rear disc brakes and a 4A-GE 20v Silvertop engine). The exact same seats are also found in the Corolla GT (same shape as mine except with the rear discs and 4A-GE 20v ST).

nice man, i guess i gotta take a trip to NZ.... maybe i could trade you center panels for the TRD tower bar? :D i actually found one and got it coming. couple guys here said they wanted it, but so far they haven't put a down payment on it. i'll shoot you a PM for the specifics.

wish i could find some seats like that. those are nice. way better than the LE models out here.

the tails you have on your car are the LE model ones here. they are somewhat rare, but still kind of blend in with everyone else. i'm the only one in hawaii running the JDM backend. i also have a Sprinter rear that i'm tempted to stick on.

as for grills.... i have several myself...

Lol, looks like you won't be needing any more grilles for a while :D. Yeah the seats are really hard to find because there aren't many GT models left, especially people wrecking them. As soon as I saw them in the junkyard I grabbed the whole lot. Ended up only costing me about $47 NZD. I actually went back the other week and unbelievably there was another Sprinter GT there! So I grabbed the rear seats because they were slightly less faded at the top than the ones I already had. The front seats in it had been swapped with base models ones for some reason however. Perhaps they had a Corolla they were going in. It's still there today and the 20v engine is still in it (automatic too so it wouldn't have been thrashed as much).

I'll keep an eye out for your PM.

if the silver top has low miles i'd go back and get it. it's soo worth having a 20V :D also i'd take the rear discs... and the porp valve.

and $47 Nz = $66 us i think you made out like a bastard.... i'd kill to have seats like that. i'd have taken the door panels too it they weren't too trashed.

Even better, $47 NZD = $33 USD :D. That included all the door cards too, although I'm yet to get the fabric transferred to my current door cards. I would have swapped the door cards straight to my car, but the Sprinter had grey interior, whereas my Corolla has plum interior.

As for the engine, it had done 217,000km. Not that high, but considering the price that the junkyard charges ($337 NZD, $237 USD) I'd rather spend a little bit more and get a low km blacktop from a wrecker, which would come with a warranty too. Knowing my luck, the reason the car's in there is because of the motor, haha. I am seriously considering taking the rear discs and proportioning valve. Still haven't completely decided. The front brakes are quite a bit bigger too. Fortunately there are plenty of 20v Levins over here that I can get them off if I don't make up my mind in time.

I got the trunk lip spoiler sent from Hong Kong. It was pre-painted to match the colour of my car and was also made to the exact right length (no trimming/cutting required like the ones on eBay). Send me a PM and I'll give you the link and email address of the guy at the company to get in touch with ;). It only took 4-days to arrive from Hong Kong to New Zealand.

As for the sideskirts, I bought them brand new off a guy who bought them for his Corolla a few years ago but didn't end up putting them on before he sold the car. They were bought from a performance shop over here in NZ and are made of fibreglass - So as far as I know, only one or two pairs were made. I tried to find some for someone else a little while ago and had no luck, even from the store who originally sold them.

I went to the junkyard today and randomly came across a Levin that had an ultra rare OEM Momo leather steering wheel and boss kit. They were only available as a factory option on the AE101 FX-GTs. The Levin I got it off had only just come into the yard moments before I arrived. It also had a 98,000km (60,000 mile) 4A-GE Silvertop engine which was quite tempting.

The best part is that the boss kit fits straight onto my Corolla and you can choose to have the horn-pad either on or off, depending on the look you want. It only cost me a measly $15 NZD ($10 USD, £6) :D

Here's some photos, first of all with the horn-pad cover on:

It's a definite improvement over the stock SE Limited steering wheel as it's much easier to grip due to it being thicker. Another bonus is that it's the same diameter as the stock wheel, so none of the numbers get obscured on the instrument cluster. The best $15 I've ever spent :)

The car I got it off was a Levin, so no FX-GT front bumper ;). FX-GT bumpers are very easy to get here though, but the problem is getting it to the US. I've had quotes before and it literally costs $650 + taxes, and that's just to the airport . I can only send smaller things unfortunately as NZ Post only accepts parcels up to 1050mm long and third party shipping companies cost an arm and a leg. I'm actually sending some FX-GT fog lights to a guy in Australia next week :)
