Depends on the kind you get. I've sat in one which had some serious side support, you needed to be like 130-140 pounds at most or you wouldn't fit. Others are more a street application without as much side support, but most people will fit.

Best recommendations I could give, sit in the ones you might purchase, or get the dimensions of it and figure out your requirements...or you could just loose weight ;)

That's why I said to get the dimensions. I realize most people don't have that option

SCC came out with an excellent seat guide last fall. I would see if anyone has any old issues.

Not many people here have seats. There are a couple OEM evolution seats on Ebay that look hot. I was thinking about picking a couple of those up, because they would be cheaper than buying Sparco's or Recaros most likely.

A couple of the links I was looking at:

I have seats and they fit perfectly. I'm what you call at the average size. I'm only 5'11" and 34 or 36 at the waist and I fit perfectly to my seats. There are some seats that has lesser side supports if your kinda big, but mine has really great side supports so if anyone over 200 is not gonna be able to ride shotgun.
