Another 93-97 lip kit...

Alright guys, I have spoken to Pete(SuperShyGuy) about making another lip kit. He said all he needs is 10 people WITH a $100 deposit, which I dont see as that big of a deal. I know some of you are on the same boat as me and want something more simple and sleek than the one he has out now. He said he can get anything we want done. So please feel free to show what lips you would like to see. For myself I would like to see this one made:

thats pretty sweet, if i had $100 to deposit i would jump on it, but i don't have any extra cash right now

the current "lip" kit doesn't make sense. you might as well get a complete replacement kit. they "flow" a lot better.


here you can see the lip is more "chiselled" creating stronger lines. i believe this lip piece on the bottom is an excellent choice/candidate.

the silver lip is much better than the current aggro lip.

I took the mater into my own hands and ended up with this

I'm debating getting another AE101/102 next summer... if I do, and one of the first few lips are available i'll be getting one... but I might also get an 01/02 depending on the finances...

why dosn't the orange one look like a corolla to me?

This one Pete make this one again cause its the simplicity of what a clean front lip should be.

because it is not a U.S. spec corolla.

I'd be down to buy a lip, especially if it's carbon fiber. I don't think we need an lip kit, because I know I'd be satisfied with just the mild lip on the front.

the reason why an overly aggressive lip doesn't make sense is because it should work as a stand alone, with sideskirts, or as a complete kit with side and rear.

if it is too aggressive, then it will require sideskirts that match the look.

I think thats what I am going to do.

How about a one piece bumper w/ lip in the style of Jspex's front end? Dunno if he's bothered by people potentially copying his creation though...

problem is not many people would buy a whole bumper lol

how much would it be

I'm actually thinking of selling my FX bumper (minus the front lip & lights.. you buy your own) and doing something different. I already have someone who has first dibs (i wonder who that might be hmm..) but if anyone else is intrested, hit me with a PM. And yes I'm pretty sure you can use that lip with the FX bumper

I'd be in if your gonna remake that front lip similar to the 98-02. I'm downgrading to smaller rims so I nice clean lip would work with my new idea perfect.
