    Someone told me that some chips are not detectable by dealerships if you remove them?

    most cannot be detected once removed. like those ebay +20HP resistor mods will just break your engine so they're not worthwhile. But, a unichip or emanage would be worth getting. :)

    what year is this going in to... unichip plays hell with vvt-i systems... best to go with e-manage

    "chips" for corollas are basically piggybacks, and if the dealership looks at your wires they'd be able to tell that you had one relatively easily.
