    Anodized paint

I know duplicolor makes an anodized metalic paint. Does any one know how well this holds up against rust in comparison to anodized metal? My friend w/ a civic is having problems with his ghetto ebay CAI rusting and won't listen to my advice that he needs to get one from a real company. So I was thinking maybe if he used that anodized paint it would work a little. I don't know....any knowledge would be rad.

    Thanks.

well paint as long as it is intact should protect against rust, but it is a total different story compared to true anodized metal.

he needs to get all the rust off and then paint it to protect against further rust.
