Blacking Out 01-02 Corolla Clear Corners =)

yeah, so I sat down this weekend with my trusty(sometimes) mastercraft rotary tool and spent a few hours cutting my clear corners open, I'd say it was pretty successful....here some pics:

they do look very clean. i just hate how the re-seals look messy, but there really isnt anything you can do about it, and i dont think people will be looking at the seals since the paint looks nice enough. good job.

A while back when I did the same thing I painted a quarter inch black line all the way around on the outside edge to cover the messy "re-seal". It looked really nice after that. Just a suggestion.

lol....ok, here's what happened, I opened them up again, cleaned off all the epoxy & silicon, and i used a sanding disc with my rotary tool to shave off all the white parts. I then used black nail polish to go around the edges of the lense (thats the first thing i could find...lol...ghetto), then I resealed again. These are the results.....no more white......so let my experience be a lesson to everyone whos going to black out their clear corners....I am now satisfied...
