well, i didn't get that celica but now i am glad i didn't. instead i picked up an '05 se-r spec v with 24k miles for $14k. it drives like a dream.

here are some low quality pictures i took with my phone. also, i'm no photographer so that makes them even worse, haha. but i think you all know what a spec v looks like anyway.

right now, my first plans (aside from learning her inside and out) are nismo i/h and borla exhaust. and when my budget allows, full nismo suspension, lightweight 16s, and nismo front lip. of course, easier said than done. :juggle: haha.

Looks good man. :) I know that Celica seemed like everything at the moment, but it wasn't the only good thing to come along. :) Now you have something fun to drive AND the functionality of having 4 doors. :D

thanks turismo, very helpfull. A friend of mine just picked up a spec v, (came from an integra coupe, easier to get the car seat in and out after the divorce ;)) and i was wondering if the specs were the same as what he got from the dealership. They were almost the same except for the torque, the dealship said it was pushing 170ftlbs of torque, but who knows maybe they were using a different part of the power band or something but its close enough.

very good choice. a buddy of mine let me drive his specV i thought i was really awesome. but good thing you didnt buy an automatic SE-R cuz my roommate(who cant drive stick so he got an auto) has one and i beat his with my 98 rolla. he does have 3 huge subs in the back though which puts his car at 3000lbs

yea, this car is a huge step up from my 94 automatic corolla. it's so much fun to drive. so much torque. sometimes i just walk outside and look at her and say "hey, that's my car." haha.

thanks for the comments, and i will keep you guys posted with my mods and stuff. i couldn't leave vvt-i.net if i tried, ha. :)
