Anybody in ATL go to the Varsity last night?

I stopped through, but I appeared to be the only non-AE86 Corolla. I didn't even see any XRS model Matrices or Corollas, which I thought was strange. I'd say there were probably more than 200 cars there... anything from Supras, Miatas, SR powered 240s, a Skyline, your run of the mill turboed civics, RSXs, VWs, DSMs, an NSX, a couple Porsches (including Ruiner and his 996TT), and an Elise just to name some of the interesting cars. This is far from a ricerfest car meet. It seems like 80% of the cars that showed up had some serious suspension work or were sporting a huge front mount intercooler.

I believe this happens every thursday. Next Thursday I'll be out of town, but anyone in the Atlanta area with a Corolla should definitely come out.

FYI, it's the Varsity in downtown ATL at the corner of North Ave and Spring Street. No racing goes on, but it's nice to walk around and talk to people about their cars.

Wow I miss the Varsity. I didn't know that was a tuner hang out now. I'll have to stop by there next time I'm in ATL.
