i've had them for a while now, they're nice, and its a nice change of pace from your typical white faced ones.

They look real nice but the pic on eBay is misleading as hell, they show the Civic Guages with this crazy blue aluminum bezel that looks badass and gives the guages a 3d look. These just look like fancy indiglows

I haven't seen a non-tach version. And yes, you can swap your gauge cluster to get a tach. I bought an 02 S cluster (my car is a 00 CE).

The install was pretty straight forward. Remove the gauge cluster from the console, slide the faces over the current ones, and then put it back in.

Swapping out the cluster isn't hard either, although there are a few gotchas depending on what year cluster you put in, and what year car you have. For example, my 00 CE has the rear defroster light on the cluster, and the button is by the clock, as opposed to it being on the ac/heater panel, so when I put in the S cluster there was no wiring in place for the light to be on the cluster.

Oh and theres one other wire you had to splice, i forgot which...

And the tach models come with an outside temp. sensor which you'll wanna buy if you don't want that -E to show up under the tach. I got mine for 40 bucks, and works like a champ.

i have an 01 CE model but i am not sure what work i would have to get part wise as well as the difficulty in changing the non-tach cluster setup to the tach setup.

Sydynamics, just want to ask you regarding your hid retrofit.

How big is the valeo d1s from d2s?

And is your valeo d1s a single xenon or bi-xenon?

    If i use a e46 bi-xenon will it fit?

Did you install any shroud or bezel on the projector?

Right now i manage to retrofit the 01" headlight using e46 single xenon and still waiting for the other pair of e46 projector before i open the other headlight. I also manage to install the shroud for the projector and i manage to fit it in but very slightly though. If i have time i'll post some picture and if i can post it here.

Ohh! i forgot to tell you guys that i have a 00" corolla and going to convert the front into a 01".

The D1S and D2S are the same size, only the connector/bulb base is different, along with the built in-ignitors.
    I have single xenons.
A bixenon will NOT fit - our housings are too small for a 3 inch lens with that depth, esp. the E46. Park your car next to an E46 M3 - those come stock with 3" bixenons. You said you installed an E46 Single and the shroud barely fit? Imagine the Bixenons to have at least about 0.5 inches in diameter.
I had shrouds custom machined, got them through sean2sean. And I bought some bezels from hidplanet - the pics on the cardomain site are kinda outdated, when I get a chance i'll post some new ones

^^There was a link up there. Look nice imo but not digging that logo on the bottom of the gauge. I like my stock ones because the green matches the clock and h/u and temp controls. But thats just me.

The guages in the picture are defiantly not what you are going to get. I bet they send you just the plastic guage over lay without any 3d effects to it. everything will just be printed on it. The reason I say this is because the only car I have ever seen with these style guages was a 93 honda civic (I think the same as the picture on ebay) and he said he paid over $200 for the guages and it was though a wholesale connection. But if you do get them and they are genuine this guy is going to get flooded with bids by all of us :D

If you read the thing this is what it says. Deff not a cluster, just some overlays.
"The actual faces of the gauge overlays are multi-layered giving a sense of depth."

EDIT: ok im confused lol. i dont know wtf it is to tell you the truth lol. picture is not vehicle specific and it shows a full cluster. description says overlays

For the price it has to be overlays otherwise the dude would not be making any money :) I'm just curious as to how they are simulating depth with the overlays. Do they have actual extruded metal rings around the guages to make them look like they are housed in or do they just have plastic painted blue or something to make it look the same but not have depth. I'm in suspense to see what these really are :D

Yeah like i thought, no bezels or anything. They are just overlays. Why did you change them out if they are good?

No the bottom pic was from a camara phone and it took it backwards. Reason why I changed, was that I changed my mind on the direction of my interior, I got Corolla S gauges now, black face/red numbers.
