    spotted a turbo...

    Cressida!

    This is the only one I've ever seen, although it had an rsx-s on it's tail still while flooring it. Anybody else seen a turbo one before?:superconf

    oh yea. i japan theyre called toyota chasers. they come in turbo versions too. my uncle used to have one, and when you went faster than 150kmph it beeped the no-seatbelt at u because you werent supposed to drive that fast:)

    ugh, chaser looks nothing like a cressida. cressida is a 4 door sedan that came before the camry (early 80's)

    and no, no 2jz, like I said it was still slow, but I was amazed to see one actually turbo'd

    Where does the Chaser fit into Toyota's JDM lineup? Is it just considered a luxo-sport 4 door?

    in the US I believe they discontinued the cressida in 84 because the camrys came out in 85 (2S-E powered)

    edit: so that means we only got the 1st and 2nd gen

    Cressidas were around until 92 actually. GREAT car! The Avalon was the sucessor.
