    AHHHH Coilovers....

figured if im in the same areas i might as well stick with the same title.. anyway im looking for some coilovers for a 98 rolla. I would do tein springs but i want to be able to retain stock ride height normally and be able to wrech it down at shows. Does anyone have any experience with coilovers that they would like to share, or any recomendations on which to buy or not buy?

avoid eBay and TOMs coilovers. TOMS are better than the eBay ones...but they're worse than DropZones.

    yeah, avoid DropZone as well...heh.

i just got my tein s techs intalled yesterday and so far i love the ride. It's not as harsh as people make it out to be, or maybe its that i just think its more fun to drive. so in conclusion, they're not that bad. :D

i would actually like to get the S Tech springs from tein, but i want to be able to keep stock ride height, at least in the rear, im afraid of rubbing issues. I had to take my 2 12's out of the trunk to keep it from rubbing as is so i need to be able maintain certain height. And who knows maybe the S Techs would be ok but im not gonna drop 200$ on some springs without knowing if they will work or not...So thats why im looking for coilovers instead of just springs.

^ Agreed, if you can't spend a good amount of money on suspension, then just get springs / struts not coilovers.

If you do, just search for JSPEXAE102's name and you'll know of some good coilovers to buy.

^ yes sir. you shouldn't get full coilovers just because its awesome or mainly if you're not going to use them. You'll just waste your money and end up wanting to get rid of them.
