i was looking for both cheap(under $150 shipped), light(under 13 lbs), 14" to run the cheap azenis RT-215($57 a tire at a local tire shop), and i really dont care what they look like - the more stock-looking the better.

for example, dodge shadow steelies are all-aluminum, weigh 11 lbs, and are 14" but they are 5-lug

under $150shipped you cant even buy the stock steelies...

and honestly shaving a few lbs off per wheel wont help much with a corolla
might be better off using the money to do something else

    i'm talking ebay prices

you can get the 1st gen miata wheels. but with those you can just tell its from a miata

you can also source some civic HX rims from a grandma. some people told me they got em as cheap as $100. dont know any grandmas who drive those however

I picked up a set of Prism alloys..running them on my MR2 now, actually. I don't think they were much/any heavier than my 15" Rota Slipstreams..

I think stock rolla rims should be around 20-24lbs (just blind guess).
And I'm also thinking maybe you should get the 1st gen miata 14" rims. They're light, around 12-13lbs a piece. I want to get them for winter, but they're so hard to find.

A nice light rim are from the 92-95 Civic VX, and they're not a bad looking rim either... but they are only 13" but they 9.7 lbs...

Another is from the 96-97 Civic HX, its 14" and weighs 11.75lbs...

Here's a list of OEM Miata wheels, very light wheels and they have the pictures too so you can gauge the look that interest you the most and also see the weights...

i was considering all of those. i cound find the 1st and 2nd gen miata wheels on ebay for pretty cheap. the 1st gen are much cheaper. HX rims are really expensive for some reason. i asked a seller on ebay for the weight of the 93-97 prizm wheels - 16.5 lbs with the box. there goes that idea. the VX rims are cheap too but azenis dont come in 13"s. still looking i guess.

oh yea and i checked that miata page and wheelweights.net already with no success. but who knew dodge shadow "steelies" are actually aluminum and weigh 11 lbs? that's gotta mean you can find something like that in our bolt pattern. very plain looking but really light.

I tried a set of 13" steelies on the rolla and they wouldn't clear the brake calipers..doy ou know if 13" Civic alloys would? They'd be good for winter..

Never thought about the brakes... I really dont know if a 13" Honda wheel would have more clearance or not than a Toyota one, but I doubt it...
