Limewire is good, but I don't bother to get the pro version. For those who have used both, what are the advantages to Pro?

I've used the free version and I got the Pro version from a friend. the Pro version, to me, is faster. when I had the free version, there weren't many results from people who had fast connections and my download speeds weren't great. When I got the Pro, the speed jumped up and I almost never had bad file downloads. Sometimes with Kazaa I would download files and it either wouldn't be complete or it would be distorted somehow.

what i like about limewire compared to kazaa is that limewire tells u that the file is corrupted while kazaa doesnt, you have to check everything before you actually burn your CD

I can never get bit torrents to work...they look like they're gonna take a week to download...I don't know much about 'em though and everyone I talk to about 'em doesn't know how to explain how to use 'em...one guy told me that long time for download was normal..so I figured he left out some info or was an idiot ..kinda annoying when you're trying to learn about something and no one can tell you anything...could someone start a bit torrent how to for morons somewhere? Cause they're all the rav...but uh...not really explained...

bittorrent doesn't work too well if you're behind a router and you have not forwarded ports. once you do though, expect the best DL speeds and availability. torrents FTW!!!!
