Static shock?

    Static shock?

    Whenever I exit the car and touch somethin metal I get shocked does anybody else experience this. I was told by a friend who drives a camry that its just seats fabric. hes does make his point I just wanted to kknow if anyboy else experience this.

    could be something not grounded well in the car, could be yourself, coulld be fabrics like ur friend said, and it could just be the weather... i had this b4 but not anymore...

    I believe that static electricity also happens in very dry weather... which is why I don't see it very much down here in Hawaii... very muggy most of the time...

    im here in jax,fl and used to live in cali where i never got shocked so that explains it

    One of the computer labs I work in is hepa filtered so it pulls all the moisture out of the air and I feel like a walking tesla coil when I'm in there. Everything metal I touch gives me a pretty harsh jolt. I would have to agree that Dry Air and Rubber Souled Shoes would be to blame :D
