    having troubles opening a file

i downloaded the full album of a hed kandi cd from bit torrent... in the zip file i got 2 kinds of files... an mp3 file thats 1 hour 18 mins long and a CUE file... idk what the hell a cue file is... from what i researched, its supposed to tell a burning software where to split the songs when its burned on a cd... but i dont want to burn the cd... i just want to split it up into multiple tracks... how do i do that? i was trying iso buster, and magic iso... its not working...

if u open notepad and drag and drop the cue file into the notepad window, it will tell you what each track is and the length/beginning/end timestamp of each track. if you get a program like cool edit pro you can manually split it, but i think theres programs out there if u insert the cue file it will auto split the long mp3 file for you into whatever many tracks the cd has

thats what the cue file in your situation should be.
