    New coilovers?

Hey i just got some new coilovers to drop the car till i got money for new struts and when i got them put on they gave it to me at the highest hight and told me to adjust it to my liking. Well when i tried to lower it it was hard as hell to turn the two perches and they were already at the bottom. So if i bring the perches up then i think it makes it higher. My friend with his civic said they had to cut off a flange on the strut and slip the coilovers over it to make it fit. Have any of yall put coilovers on stock struts and if so did you have tio do something like that.

yup you have to cut off those little strut hat things to slide in the coilover sleeves.

Just to get things straight, are these coilovers or sleve-overs?

Yeah i looked at my car n i see what i got to do . Thankx for all the info guys. I will post pics up soon. My car went from stock to 17" rims, lowered, drilled slotted rotors, front strut bar, new headlights and foglights, SRI, painted tails in less than 3 days. I am quite happy with the result. Well when it is lower that is.
