Yes you've got the idea. They use nitrous as a propellant for whipped cream, you've probably heard that. "huffing whippits" and getting high on nitrous.

There is a small dust remover that takes the same size cartridges. It usually uses compressed air and it's for cleaning your computer or whatever. These n2o cartridges are the same exact size. You can take a tube and run it into your intake and hook it to one of those dust removers and a cartridge of n2o to deliver some boost. They're the same size as those co2 cartridges for BB guns.

    Here we go...

I've seen N2O kits for Nitro R/C cars that use those chargers and they last for like a 3 second burst ;) So on a real car I'm guessing its really going to be almost not noticeable. Maybe change the pitch of the engine just a smidge.

Hah. Your probably right. You probably would need to have someone in the passenger seat with a case of those so they could load them up one after another to actually gain any speed.

Or you make a belt fed system like a stationary machine gun would use where it feeds in one carts blows it into the intake and then switches to the next and the next and so on :) That would be pretty cool ;)

That'd be sweet, you could set it up so it snapped the empty cartidges up and out of the car, it'd look like empty shells popping out of a gun as you drive down the road! LOL

OMFG that would be awesome :) Your at the stop light revving your engine and the light hits green, and a streem of empty cartridges's fly out of your hood as you race away :) And it would only cost you like $200 a mile to run N2O that way ;)
