I've heard nothing but good things with Alpine. However, I'm not a fan of touch screens because eventually you'll see finger prints on the screen and you'll constantly have to clean it.

I went to a drive in movie my school sponsored the other day and my system sounded damn good playing Mr. and Mrs. Smith! I can't even imagine what it would sound like with a center channel added...

I think an in dash screen is going to be on my to do list now too...

I love my Clarion...it was has buch of cool things. Touch screen too. I avoid the fingerprints on the screen by using my nail to push the on screen buttons. I use the DVD player all the time. I don't know how I survived with out it!

Most in dash DVD players disable the DVD functionality when the car is running or out of park. But you can easily disable that :) Mine on the other hands works no matter what because it thinks its just a computer sitting on a desk somewhere :) I'm at freeway speeds is dangerous though with a finger touch onscreen keyboard :)
