    Sam's Club

    Just an FYI those who shop at Sam's Club.

    I just received an email from the Risk Control Department at my job stating that credit card and debit card information was being stored in Sam's Club's system (This is what Visa has determined). Due to this, alot of accounts have been compromised. We have 15,000 accounts that need to be closed here at work.

    I'm not saying it happened to you, but if you used it recently then I would keep an eye out on your statements. Its better to be safe then sorry. And dont' tell me that ur bank will notify you...not all of them do. I know two people who had their cards compromised when BJ's system was hacked into and the bank never notified them.

    Its like a BJ's or Costco. Basically a Giant supermarket and more that is attached to alot of Walmarts.

    Think a store like CostCo. Sam's Club is one of the largest member's only warehouse club discount outlet in the US. They sell business and personal oriented products priced close to margin (dealer cost) and pass on the savings to you.

    Our office use them and CostCo to buy bulk paper towels, plates, cups, coffee, teas, etc for the kitchen. Money saved is realized if you normally buy "cases" of anything.

    Good tip DaCubanSkillz. Everyone really needs to be careful, especially around the holidays when money is spent a little faster than usually.

    I know they dont have too many in Canada, I think one is in Toroto or something.

    i believe Sam's club is the same company as Walmart ... except Sam's club is for "members only"

    is it the costco at Wadsworth and Layton OR the one at I-70 and Wadsworth? cause if it's the one at Wads and Layton I live like 30 secs away from that one.
