2001 corolla fog lamps

    2001 corolla fog lamps

    hey guys i got new Fog lamps, but i didnt get the wire harness. Does anyone know where i can get those from?

    the harness is built in on 01-02 models. for an older one I guess go to the dealership

    Hmm... So you have the fog light with the socket, but not the plug?
    Isn't that a standard plug? Maybe check at an autoparts store.

    You don't have to use the factory style plug, just chop the wires and insert your own plug.

    True if you have the fogs that have a wire coming out of back of the housing before it turns into a socket.

    If you have the kind where the sealing cap that screws into the back of the housing has the socket moulded onto it, then you can't do that.

    My 02 original had the ones with the moulded cap/socket. I replaced a broked fog and the new one I got has the wire coming out of the cap, and then the socket.

    ...I just wanted to make things more complicated.

    i have 98 carolla with 01 front end... but thanks for the help guys.. ill just go to the delarship...

    PS. is shyguy still selling those front ends?

    wow haven't seen you for a long while now. The last time i saw you was at the 2nd or 3rd NC4 meet can't really remember?? yeah shyguy still around and selling those front ends? by front end do you mean the one piece front lip?

    yeah i still drop by NC meets sometimes! but i dont drive a toyota anymore i got a truck and im not really doing much to it, just the sound system gota have my music right on the road...

    y dont u hook up your own switch
    not that hard and doesnt take much time toyota will charge an arm and leg for the switch plugs and everything else
