headlights on is are much bigger. you would have to modify the hood, fenders, and the front bumper. Ano not only that but all the supports and whaever else might be in the way thats behind the front bumper.

too much troube and to much money. personally i dont think it would look right etheir.
It would probably be easier to do a projector retrofit.

I think it would be a nice project, everything obviously would have to be custom molded and what not but it can be done.

sure it can be done, but it all really comes down to how much you are willing to spend to get it done. its probably not going to be cheap.

I'm actually not in florida right now. Im deployed in Iraq, wont be back in the states until early january. My sister stays in jacksonville, i actually live in Georgia right now, but i was thinking i can get it done either when i get out of the army in april or when they give me leave when we get back.

I dont know if im gonna have the funds I just bought a turbo and thats my focus when i get back. If u can find out how much it would cost let me know and maybe i'll head that way.

haha, just don't get into the middle of a headlight conversion, and then buy other cars for projects, then work on other peoples cars......

i'm about 3 years into my headlight conversion  but alas, i'm actually working on it again!

if you look closely, almost every single line on the 98-02 corolla has a similar counterpart on the is-300. i think this would make the swap look really good, althoug hyou might have to make your grill a bit bigger for it to look right.

also, since you have a fiberglass bumper itwill be a lot easier to work with than just standard abs. this will definitely put you out from the crowd, i know of no corolla with this done as of yet. GO FOR IT!!!!!

I love the IS headlights, but if you're going to swap, you might as well swap in some headlights that have projectors, or at least HIDs.

Some were halogen, some HID. It depends on the year and/or options. They're definitely not projectors though.
