    I just took my 01~02 corner apart~

    finally got these thing apart:)
took me a good one hour:(

and now~ i can concur that the orange piece cannot be take out:)
anyways~ i took it apart, because i want to balck out the corner too.
i used the oem one to test, so i don't fuck up my claer corner.~

anyone got better idea, other than take it apart by dremel?

i did the oem corners no prob they were easy, i just wedged a flat head in there and it popped open, but i tried on the clear corners and that shit just cracked, so yeh i would suggest dremel at low speed....

anyways when u put the corner light back together remember to use some black epoxy resin, they have it at walmart, u awnna use black cuz if u used white you will see the lines around the corner.....heres an example of it wit black resin, u cant really see the line around the corner where i glued it back together.....

I'm not sure how your corners are setup but you could try heating it up in the oven and then using a razor blade to open it...

after examined the clearn corner that i was gonna black out~
i decided not to do it at all.

the reason is~the quality of between clear part and housing is not as good as the oem.and it require a deeper cut compare to the oem one. it doesn't really worth the risk for now.

you mean you want to take oem blacked out corner from me or ?

if that's the case, i belive you wouldn't want it too.

one of those oem corner still have smoke paint i painted awhile back.
they don't look pretty after the paint is washed off.the lens is not clear at all
