I wouldn't mind having on of these actually since they have the 4g63 motor and the AWD instead of that POS mivec motor YUCK!

Is that actually created by mitsu? If not, don't look for it in production. I'm sure they're going to create a higher performance model of the Eclipse, but give it a year at least.

as far as I've heard around forums etc is that this car IS NOT in production or anything of that sort. There might be a possibility but who knows like Ninety Four said give it at least another year...... IF this car is made is gotta be made by Mitsubishi for mass production. The X concept is already set in Mistus mind to come out soon here, sucks it doesn't come with a REAL 6 spd gear box and not some F1 style paddle handicapped bs.... grrr I hate autotragic

i wonder if the company's going to be able to fund that sort of a project.

Does the new Eclipse V6 have much modding potential? I drove one and that fucker has boatloads of torque. You can spin the tires through 2nd if you really wanted to, so unless it's completely at its performance potential already, I wouldn't mind it instead of a 4G63.

One of my lieutenants was telling me that this could be the version of the X concpet that is going to come out. It would make sense to use a body they already have.

He mentioned that they will more than likely also not go with the HKS turbo and exhaust, seeing as the kits in the EVO are already tested with the angine and whatnot. Also makes sense. It will be really heavy though.
