    Need For Speed: Most Wanted

comes out in a few days and just played the demo. A mix of hot pursuit 2 and underground 2...making one badass street racing game! To those who can support the demo's system req's, I'd recommend downloading the demo. the demo is about 544mb though :( Suppose to be released on the 15th. It's worth at least checking out! Just thought I'd share my experience....

XBOX 360 will own :) The graphics inprovement between the XBOX and 360 are the same as between ATARI 2600 and Playstation :)

I wouldnt say its THAT big of a difference. And unless you have a TV that will support those graphics, youll be shit out of luck. (I know you have that setup, Barnacules, but many dont, and will be mega disapointed.)

Why would it be required? Unless you have an HD TV, the pictur/graphics will look crappy. But, if you havent ever played games on an HD TV with componentsin teh first place, I guess you wont be able to tell the difference anyways

I heard a rumor that HD would be required to even hook the xbox 360 up...but guess it was just a rumor...

i dont think that will happen... coz HD is not that common yet... (we have premium HD and all that good stuff on directv and we only get 8 HD channels...) but is that game gonna come out for the PS2?

The only way that it would be "required" to have HDTV is if the only output out of the XBOX 360 is a HDMI cable. Otherwise, HDTV are run through component cables, and even the PS2 has component outs.

And you can get a smaller screen HDTV for 750

I paid $599 CAD for my 26" Widescreen HDTV :) It is last years model, so it was a clearance price down from $999, definitely happy with it!

Yo I just picked up my copy today at the local Walmart. Got a discount too (my g/f works for Walmart). Had to get mine first thing this morning before all the kiddies get out of school and start grabbin'em off the shelfs.

Anyhow, check this out though, did anyone know about the Black Edition that came out at the same time. I got the Black Edition version, instead of the regular NFSMW version. The box looks cool. Comes with an extra DVD, and some more cars and exclusive races that aren't in the regular one. It cost $10 dollars more. I didn't know anything about this other version, until I got to Walmart, and saw it. Haven't cracked it open yet, but I will during my lunch break (or perhaps before that).

I'm a little pissed off though, cause apparently for us PS2 owners, WE CAN'T, I REPEAT CAN NOT PLAY ONLINE! Only Xbox, Xbox360, and PC versions.

I got my copy last night, the black edition, but haven't gotten to play much because my cun...er...bitc...er...loser room mate won't stop watching Judge Judy. What I did play though was really rad as hell.

I read an article on CNN talking about how the initial games won't have graphics vastly superior to the original xbox. I'm sure that'll change in the future as more games are released, but they were downplaying the xbox360 in general.

And most of the articles state that the graphics will be equal to the existing Xbox unless you have a full HDTV setup. The average gamers age has moved to the mid to late 20s, so the cost of an HDTV setup is viable.

good thing that the black edition is a limited edition...otherwise no one would buy the regular edition of the game....
