    1. never take pictures using flash, use longer shutter speed instead
    2. always use a tripod
    3. do not get your reflection in the picture
    4. taking head-on pics, try not to use headlights, it just blows it out, instead, turn on only fog lights or parking lights

dude when you start taking "real" photography and not just random clicks of your car..come back and talk to me, there are so many flaws with those pictures i can point out

well he is submitting the car pictures to hopefully get sponsored, and a company would probably like to see some above average to professional style pictures

there is so much difference a picture can make a car look

If its a "portfolio" he needs to have professional looking pictures...he was just trying to give pointers on how to achieve the look that would catch the eye of a possible sponsor. I dont know why youre tripping, jeez.

    1. I said my camera sucked... I cannot change the shutter speed on my digicam... if you want I can take out my Nikon film cam and take some for ya.

    2. I did use a tripod... again my camera sucks ass

    3. please let me know where my reflection is I looked on all 50 pics that I took yesterday and didn't see my self once.

4 in the head on shot, that was the look I wanted... they did not blow out they did exactly what I wanted them to. actually all the pics I took turned out how I wanted them to... well except the second one... these are raw photos tho.. I have not done any editing to them.

I am not trying to denounce your advice, I am just saying that until you talk to somebody about how they wanted the pictures to be please try not to criticize ones artistic view of his own car.

For knowing your camera and knowing what great pictures you can take with a good camera, I think they turned out great. Wanna do some of my truck this weekend?

No, they arent just random pics of the car....hes sending them to potential SPONSORS!!! How bout you chill out, stop arguing FOR HIM, and let him comment himself. You make yourself look so retarded sometimes in your arguments.
Your arguments would hold water if 1. The pics were professional looking, and 2. he took them just to show people on vvt-i.net.

He was giving constructive criticism, not bashing him.

The artistic views are fine, but the actual quality of the pictures leave a lot to be desired. If youre serious about getting a sponsor, better pics would help you out.
Compare the color of your pics to the color of your car in your sig.....

Oh, and I love the location!

another thing that is too distracting is the license plate, if it's just to block your plate on the forum, thats fine, but dont send that blue green yellow beehive pattern to the sponsor

when i say blown out, you can CLEARLY see that it is on pics 1, 2, and 4, the side reflection on the car isn't really a reflection anymore, it's just TONS of light making the car look white..no more reflection

the headlights make it too distracting, if you wanna take pics of headlights, take them during sunset, when the sun is up, and you're taking pics head-on, it tends to brighten up one side it looks like ass

and NEVER TAKE PICS against the sun

and if you say you could take better pics with the nikon film, why not do that instead, why would you want to take pics with a crappy digicam that doesn't show the better of the car

the last picture is the best out of all IMO, side of the car isn't blown out, reflections are clearly visable, only thing i would change is turn the headlights off and sharpen the picture a bit

The pictures are alright, but what does your car have that would make a company want to sponsor you? As far as I can tell, its only lowered, stock wheels, stock kit on it, stock lights all around, stock grill, etc... it's not an ugly car (I personally like it alot), but a sponsor will want someone who was already put some cash and time into their car (they know the person is serious), you have a good start, but I doubt that its even near enough to entice any *real* potential sponsors...

...What else would I be talking about other than aftermarket part companies? What Im trying to say is that most companies will look past a stock looking car if it isnt in its first year of production(body style wise). If he would have tried back in 03, I would say he had a chance, but now, its very unlikey.
