Yes, iPod's are the bomb, I own the 30gb iPod color and the 4gb iPod mini and love them both.

Oh... and note that I hate Apple :) But I love the iPod. Thats how good it is.

best bang for the buck - avoid the nano. it's had too many problems, and it's small for the amount of money you pay.

I'd love one, but there are so many other things I want right now that I won't spend money on one. For now i just stick w/ CD's while in the car and my MD player if im on the run.

In the car I can fit more than enough music on MP3 CDs, but keeping up with CDs can be a pain. It's also nice to be able to make playlists on the fly without searching for a disc. Then, when you park, take the tunes with you!

In any case, if you use an iPod in the car, PLEASE do not use an FM transmitter, because it will sound like shit. Install a cord where you can connect the iPod directly to your headunit. You'll thank me when you hear the difference in your music.

Eh...depends. I bought one, and although I agree they do rock, I realized that I did not really use it much. Couldn't really bring it to my job and listen, and other times I'm in the car or at home. I could easily be listening to my mp3s on a cd or just in the house, and save that money. Now for trips if you take them often enough, or if you're always on the go, then yeah its cool. Me peronally, I wish I had the $400 back. :)

Yes. I'd like to meet the person who has more than 20 gigs of music they listen to regularly.... you don't really need any more storage than that.

for that price, you can't get anything quite as nice. that's a STEAL for the price of an iPod.

a regular MP3 player is much cheaper and works just as well. But then if you like conforming to every new fad that hits the market, a ipod is for you.

check ebay to see how much they're going for. You may be able to sell it for a profit.
