    well, i may not be around alot for at least the next week, my computer came up with an error yesterday saying something about a chipset heatsink not plugged it, so my dads gotta rip it apart and see whats wrong with it...i'll prolly be able to be on the site at school during brakes...

    Sounds like a cooling issue... might have to change the fan thats mounted on top of the heatsink on top of the processor.

    Yeah I think its a cooling issue also. Most CPU fans these days have a 3rd RPM wire that the BIOS will monitor to ensure the system is running cool. But fans will fail over time so its probably time to replace it. Sometimes you can just peel the sticker off the back of the fan and put a couple drops of lithium grease in there and seal it back up to reclaim it but if you can get a new fan that is probably the way to go.
