Sticking it to the scammer :)

Today I received mail from some Sweepstakes Clearinghouse offering me checks for $400 that I could use towards already cheap merchandise. They are actually selling Pentium 333 desktop computers from an eon ago for $1000 with an old ass monitor and AT style keyboard :) So with your 400 check you are still paying like $950 more for the computer then what it is worth. I also found the company on ripoff-reports.com so I decided to do something fun. I printed out 13 peices of paper that say 'Stop ripping people off' and forced them into the self addressed postage paid return envelope enclosed (the one your suposed to put money into). Then I just found garbage laying around the room and bits of cardboard and stuff and basically stuffed the envelope to like 2lb. Then I had to use double stick tape and glue to get the envelope to stay closed and I went out and tossed it on the box and put the flag up. I also posted in the ripoff-reports section instructing others to do the same. I wish something like this would catch on because it would really put a dent in these mail scams funding :) Anyways just thought I would share that. Has anyone else here done something similar to this?

    Cool. :)

I've been trying to think of a way to stick it to those scammers that say they're overseas and want to buy the car you have listed for sale for some outrageous amount and have it shipped over, you know the ones I mean.

There is a way to deal with those guys :) You just basically act like you are super interested and keep the deal going for a while and then tell them that they need to pay the frieght charges if they want the car. Tell them to pay it directly to the shipping company of your choice. Once they do give the shipping company a box of busted parts to send to him :) I've read about other people doing this with computer parts and laptops and its hillarious :)
