    New Rims= Need Tire Suggestions

Okay, this week I got an awesome deal on a brand new set of Gunmetal 17s. I really wanted 16s, but the deal was too good to pass up. To those who know how much, please dont say. Anyways, I need some recommendations on which brand/type of tire to go with. I dont want anything outrageous, nor do I want cheap tires. I want something with a good performance rating also. Should I go with 205s or 215s? Any and all recommendations will be considered! Also, the offset 40, will they rub? Thanks to anyone that can give me some advice!!! Here are pics of the rims:

I set them against my car and they look really good;) They are Weds Sports TC005 knockoffs.

Stick with 205/40/17. Any wider and you'll rub for sure. As far as what tire to buy, Some ideas are the Kumho Ecsta range, Yokohoma ES100's or the Toyo Proxes 4. The last one is a pretty lightweight tire from what I've heard.

You told me you were only planing to keep these until u get another set so just get some cheapy Falken 512's. They perform pretty well for the price.

I have the Falken 512's in 215/45/17's. (on a Civic not corolla) They're cheap and not bad but the sidewalls are really weak. They're not as great as I was expecting either. Id go with Nitto Neogens or Proxes 4's. Those were the other 2 I had considered but went with the Falkens because they were cheaper.

I favorite tires of all time are "Toyo Proxies 4's". However Yokahama Parada's are pretty good too but they are pretty soft rubber and don't last too long.
