That reminds me of some places in ATL. One thing I like about ATL is that it has highways that go through the city. The area around where 75/85 and I-20 cross has alot of scenes like the ones you guys used for your pics.... deserted warehouses, freeway overpasses, graphiti and the like. Not necessaily the "best" neighborhood, but a good backdrop for pics if done creatively.

sorry, most of those pics are too distracting

white balance would be better than the setting you had on there, it's too eye-straining

all the pics with lights have HUGE lense flare, get a polarizer or something to compensate for it

and last but not least, most common mistake, a lot of the pics are repetitive

Thanks for all the compliment and support. I also appreciate some feedback too:)

i just start taking photo 1 month ago, and so far i like it alot.

I'm trying to learn the white balacing, but it is hard.:p

I do plan to get a polarizer, but till i can do better on those photo.(any brand that you would recommand?)

as the repetitive of photo, I just posted all the pix i uploaded to my server.
I found it kind of anooying when i was waiting till those photo to be loaded.

Thanks for you guy's compliment, support, and feedback.
deeply appreciated:) (that is how i can learn and grow)

go hang out there, you'll learn alot..

and canon 10d as first camera? i'd learn with a point and shoot first, then step up to a d-slr

some of photo has big light glare was taken by point n shot camera.
Point n shot camera doesn't really have what i need. I'd rather have a good camera to start than bad one. Even i'm not good at it:p yet
i tried to learn this camera as much as i can, and also reading some books too:)

    BIG BIG BIG MISTAKE

it's better to start with a camera that has less features and easy to understand, than a camera like a d-slr that has too many features that you cannot ever learn..

are you saying that all point-n-shoot camera's suck? if so, i'm sorry, but to be honest, i have taken way better pictures than yours with my point-n-shoot, and it cost 3 times as less..

ask anyone on accessphoto, it's the photographer that makes the picture, not the camera

    all taken with a point-n-shoot..

and i have taken about 2000 pictures with my "bad camera"

price has nothin to do with a cameras capability..the camera only cost me 240 dollars..compared to his 1300 dollar camera that he doesn't even know how to use..

    it's a sony dsc-v1
