well consider 350 for ground controls, and eventually you'll need new shocks, that's another couple hundred..

save the trouble and spend around 800 to get a perfectly matched coilover setup, a TRUE coilover system..no unmatched spring and shock

Make sure you get struts to match the spring rate of GC's. GC base spring rate is 300lbs/in. The usual aftermarket replacements are only built to handle 150-200lbs/in.

hmmmmmmm...that won't last until next year, however. pity. looks like i'll be going through a friend of mine.

how about no. :) THANKS FOR YOUR OPINION BUT I'M NOT INTERESTED IN HEARING WHAT YOU THINK IS BEST FOR MY CAR. you know, i really hate repeating myself, but here goes:

do you have $1500+ to give me for a superb set of coilovers? didn't think so. now...it's MY car, not YOUR car, deary...when i want your opinion of what i should do, i'll ask for it. till then, do us both a favor and keep your opinion to yourself. i love when people can't read.

*nods* when it comes time to replace the struts i'll keep that in mind. for the time being, i'll be fine with my current struts.
