They might not seem MUCH brighter, but consider the price of (2) Silverstars, around $25 a pop = $50 total, against a PAIR of Luminics JDM yellow bulbs for $20 shipped.

there are people on honda-tech that have had these bulbs for over 8 months, so i think these are pretty good quality built bulbs, unlike those nokya and ebay ones that blow out every couple weeks

Exactly. Besides the last thing I need is a bored cop hassling me because he doesn't like the color or brightness of my headlights.

Incidently the new look of this site looks like puke.

i have a set of luminics that my friend gave me and they were ultraviolet purple they did alright for a while then they turned slightly blueish, and they do not do as well as the silverstars that i currently have. if you can convince me that thee lumincs are brighter than the sivlerstars than pictured below then i i will order a set but for the reliability i'd stick to the silverstars. my signature depicts what i mean for the silverstars and the photo was taken with my cell phone.

BTW i had the luminics for about two weeks than i gave them to my friend who has them on his 01 Rolla LE and he still has them but they are not as bright.

Ahh yes, the classic bulb arguments. I've tried so many bulbs in my day. I wish someone made something decent. I find Silverstar's brighter and whiter than stock, but not enough to stand out. I find Nokya's brighter and bluer, but too blue. If only there were something in between that wasn't crap. For those with burnout problems (for Nokya's) I recommend the upgraded harness. Next time my bulbs go, I will probably just go with Silverstars. I only wish they had just a hint of blue in them. Those luminarcs look way too yellow for me, sorry. The Silverstars look like the headlights on new factory cars, before they go dim and get scratched/dirty. Not much of an improvement to me.
