93 and 98-02 suspensions

are they COMPLETELY the same? i wanted to swap a 93 suspension into a 98-02. what should i watch out for?

Supposedly the strut top is slightly different on pre 96 models (how- I don't know), but that shouldn't be an issue really.

why would you want to do that? explain

its says that it will fit a 93+ corolla. but the front struts look different where they connect to the hub.. it comes with front brakes, however. would it fit?

should fit considering that tokico and kyb aftermarket struts for 93-97 work on 98-02 and vice versa.

Make sure they're not the Super Strut, because from what I've heard, those are a completely different suspension than other Corollas of the same year.

are you talking about Tein SS? if so, it's Super Street, not Super Strut

no... super strut is a special strut they have for jdm toyotas i guess.

IMO coilovers are too bouncy. lowering springs are so much better.

dude... You are thinking of those shitty coil-over sleeves.

FULL coil-overs have adjustable struts 99% of the time so you can make them as bouncy as you wish. After having just lowering springs and now with fully adjustable coil-overs, I will NEVER go back.

i had adjustables once, didn't like them at all so i sold them to my friend. and for some reason it worked better on his car than it did on mine. and the only difference is mine is as S and his is a LE both are 01's. i guess i already have pretty much the entire suspension done but i dunno it just works better on his than mine. that i do know.
my car has little, if no body roll and with those struts/coilovers it had more, his car had substantially less roll and just did better.

well i found a FULL coilover system. fully adjustable from an AE101 levin.

That might not work, It is a full superstrut suspension setup ewhich means you would have to change the lower control arms, The front suspension of the 98+ is slightly different from the 93-97 because of the engine placement. Besides I wouldn't run superstrut in the US, it's near impossible to get replacement parts like bushings, etc.
