It's just the gas prices and the war. Don't take it personally.

truth is no one is crazy, they just have different views (correct or not) and everyone has a different way of approaching them and reacting to it.

if any information is misguided some (very little, mind you) is what i have been told from previous experiences. i am not here to "throw" things at people and piss them off, and im sure most of you have a similiar effect.lately i have not been here since they have had me in the office (go in the evenings) and have been under a lot of pressure so if i am out of tone, more than likely i am not paying attention and i am just thinking about what has to be done and comepleted.surprisingly enough turbo4age is the only person that has the ability to correct up in front, which i respect. others have told things to me but not to an extent in which he had done. If there is any questions or comment please feel free, just don't cut my throat, i would like to stay alive.

oh its a lot of other factors was well, but i will leave it at that.

true...though Toyotanation's relatively harsh compared to VVT-i, it's child's play compared to RD.

what's the age got to do with it? lol

for the record --- correction is one thing. I won't tolerate blatent mis-information either, so if someone such as e_andree or turbo4age chime in and correct (despite sometimes it being a little blunt and harsh) its their god given right to do so. If they hurt your feelings, try to learn not to take it personally, take it as it comes and learn from it. Everyone has their own style of delivery. Honestly, when they do it, they're beating me to it, hehe. I've done my fair share of correction on folks and sometimes I do feel the need to not only correct but school you at the same time. It's not done out of malice, but out of extreme prejudice against misinformation. It doesnt mean I'm flaming you because I feel like it or i don't like you, it means I'm frustrated at the spread of misinformation and the need for me to correct it. I'm the same way in my job when someone decides their an expert on network engineering and I have to show them the err of their ways.

As for the hostility remarks, yes this board is very tame. We won't tolerate a blatant bust on someone (ie. Hey XXXXX, you're a fucking moron and you don't know enough to wrench yourself out of a fucking wet paper bag) and we 90%+ of the time catch it and step in at somepoint to correct, mod, etc. However, if someone borders on the harsh in correction --- as long as it doesnt get into a outright poo-fling then whatever, deal with it -- its still tamer than most.
