    Amber bulbs, clear corners

I currently have and like my clear corners, but I have blue 'xenon' 'hyper white' bulbs in them. I want to replace them, with amber bulbs.

    Here are my options:

    1. LEDs, look the best, but I'd have to buy load resistors and when it's all said and done, it would be fairly expensive and the most work.

    2. Silver coated amber bulbs. I heard these aren't very bright.

    3. Amber bulbs. I don't mind too much having them yellowy in the day, but I kind of want something a little more sharply amber at night.

Let me know what you folks have tried.

Sylvania Silverstar corner bulbs work great. They're what I use.

yeah, front end, bad accident. Many years ago. some retard went through a red light, a week after I bought the car. Whole front end went smash-o. my corner bulbs are hybrid or polarg, they are really good. But I want amber to better contrast my headlights.

lol I remember when in my Terc I changed from stock lights to Silverstar headlights... it like "dim/dimmer" to "bright/daylight"

old headlights in high were exactly as bright as dimmed but like... 2 inches longer lightning...

we were talking about the corner bulbs, not the headlamps. I tried Silverstar headlights and wasn't impressed, but that's another topic.

Aren't the silverstar corner bulbs blue when they aren't lit? Not sure if I like that.

It has a blue-rainbowish looking coating thats baked into the glass so the color wouldn't burn off. The coating cancel all color wavelengths but the amber. Very simular to the stuff they use on yellow foglight bulbs.
