    Pistons

I've found a guy who can make me some pistons but he needs specifics as to what i need...........I really dont know anything about pistons but I have a turbo setup so I would appreciate it if somebody would give me some advice as to what specific pistons I should get made.....and the guy who makes the pistons is pretty good at his trade since he's made custom pistons for my friends honda hatchback and it runs 9's with the help of NOS......so I'm pretty sure he's reliable....well any input is appreciated.

you could go with a heavier design, but not hollow, a heavier weight will get you better low end. the ones i had were forged but i paid a very, very pretty penny for them. anything that has a better oiling system i.e. oil ring, and will not cause detionation is good, also internal dome types are not good for cars like ours, a convex shape with a lower lining is good too.

Why have him make them custom when you can buy them already made?

Weisco is the next feasible option i would take over ARIAS.

They list them with the performance rebuild kits, but I'm sure you could get them seperately.

MWR is expensive as all hell. IMO, JE Pistons are good but i've heard they work for Honda's best is this true?

but if you can find the same product cheaper elsewhere, they'll pull their price down to match it.

if MWR carried ARIAS that would be great. i paid 730 for mine, just for the pistons alone (thank god i still have them) but even then i'd rather buy from a very well established manufacture, no that MWR is bad but its what i prefer.

    then....
    #1. you probably got ripped
#2. its about time you did some research or piston design and the benefits of reducing rotating mass
#3. he did feed you a load of shit, and you overpaid too

no hard feelings man, its just that you throw your 2cents around here in every thread, and its typically misinformation.
