I just ran into someone this weekend (green '99 with 2ZZ swap) that remembered my gunmetal grey turbo 01' from years ago on here. Figured I would pop back in and see if anyone from back then was still around. I miss my old Corolla, but I got a 2016 Scion tC. I'm still doing DIY guides, but now I'm on YouTube at www.youtube.com/vampyrex13.

    Hey Vamp,

I'm still here too. There are quite a few 2zz swaps these days, and TRD supercharger installs as well. I'll be doing the conversion as well as soon as I find an LSD! Things have changed quite a bit since the old days. I still have a few pics from our MD/VA meets from the early 2000s saved from your website, as well as the Celica GT ECU. I also found the trans solution as well -- it's as simple as swapping s1 and s2 pins for trans control, the shifting logic tables become identical when you do that.

I logged in by accident today, by launching a browser on an old device where this was the last viewed website. I don't come here often, but had to reply after seeing this post at the top of the list.

    Cheers,
    James

    Hi Vamp,

Welcome! j/k... somehow I found myself back here after not logging in for 8+ years. Took many guesses to figure out my password.

I sold mines back in 2015 after losing interest in the project and pretty much cars all together. Working in the industry would do that to ya. But I came back to the hobby after taking an extended break. Hoping to build a Exocet in the future
