picture less update till later on today...

-01 corolla LE auto is pretty much parted out. It looks like crap and will most likely be sold within the first month of 2016
-01 corolla S manual got a 08 pontiac vibe 1zz since my original 1zz had a rod knock.
-02 corolla S auto stock other than upgraded suspension and mr2 wheels. current daily.

here is the silver S, at 250k miles still running but its consuming oil quickly.....duh, its up for sale

    11892033_932092953514239_6594101506144494224_n.jpg
Here is the newest car ive bought. its an 05 toyota matrix xr 69k miles...slow but more leg room than the corolla for sure. much better for longer trips. Keeping this stock, no wheels, no lower, nada....

my 01 Manual S i removed the hybrid 01/05 front bumper because its getting resprayed so 01 bumper with trd valences currently installed. I put about 8k miles since i did the 08 pontiac vibe 1zz swap and its a really good upgrade from having to pour oil into the engine every few hundred miles.

For the Vibe engine, did you convert to drive by wire, or did you keep the cable throttle? And did you swap to the plastic manifold?

cable throttle. I kept my original throttle body and manifold. I was told by a member here that i cant use the 05-08 throttle body and manifold because it uses a different adapter plate or something like that. I would have to use a 03-04 setup.

My 05 matrix has the drive by wire and i still cant really get the hang upon acceleration, it kinda jerks since im more use to the cable setup. rather have a cable setup honestly.

Im sure most of you already know but yea this happen. had a slight knocking sound at around 2500-2700rpm so i decided to sell the vehicle to the state. got $1500 for the car and bought something else.

    13501788_1099467566776776_3865788421503169058_n.jpg

04 GT-S with 150K miles. price was good, but now i can see why....

    14884605_1194883953901803_4158766461010534357_o.jpg

the engine didnt blow, it was just leaking oil from the corner of the head gasket. It would still hit lift and no other problems with it just leaked oil.

then an instinct buy, super cheap matrix i bought with all OEM goodies. navigation, side air bags, first aid kit, premium sound, everything.

The xrs is way better than my old corolla but i do sometimes fell like getting another 8th gen....perhaps a project 8th gen and actually do something under the hood not just aesthetics. Also been telling myself to get a 6th gen celica and do a v6 swap.

I still have the silver 8th gen i bought for my dad like 5 years ago but its really beat up on both quarter panels and it has frame damage...only reason i bought it was because it had low millage at the time.

    heres how it sits...
    19104_866894713367397_4225263676459403391_n.jpg

Its already burning oil at 250k miles. I am in the process of retiring the vehicle to the state but they need me to smog the car and send the information back to them.

IDK ill see what project i pick up this year but this will be after i recover from my knee. after they remove the cast i still have another month of just therapy hospital visits... bummer...
