I have this very item installed on my WRX. For the corolla you do not need a dual chamber unit. You can route the pcv valve and the crank case breather to a single chamber model.

Is it really needed on the Corolla at all?

they are custom, so I figured that. I just didn't know how much vaccum is needed per line. All the other 1zz use a dual just figured I would stick with that.

it's probably not needed, but as I slowly turn my motor from a NA 1zz with lots of goodies to a supa-knargged one. It will help boost my my octane a tiny bit by removing access oil vapor. At least that's the idea. I'm the type of guy that likes to go over bored. Not in a redneck autozone performance way, but do you need that fancy lotus part that fits the Corolla, nope but I did it anyway.
