Been a while but im still around.

Today i painted my front valence, tomorrow im painting my side skirts and rear valences....I originally painted my side skirts with some cheap-o clear coat that evetually got all hazy and white....i prepped them up today and will spray them tomorrow.

Fixed my TRD muffler, i got a new hanger to raise the muffler but just enough so that it does not touch the bumper...

If the muffler is properly installed with the original hanger it will be touching the muffler and will melt the bumper. I wanted to avoid this so i had to make my own mount.

    1544363_815918745131661_7615853546321958949_n.jpg 10868014_815918748464994_4822028494849256550_n.jpg

Installed my passenger front valence today, looks ok but i think the 98-00 front valences flows better with the bumper. Only reason i used the 01-02 fronts was because its the one for the front bumper but if i want i can swap them whenever i want.

I had 4 mufflers at one point...all had this problem unless I was suppose to use a different hanger. Even the one I pulled from the junk yard had the tip touching the bumper and the small part was melted. Rx7rocket can also back me up on this about the muffler hitting the bumper since it happen on his when he bought his trd rolla. Irvin also mounted his with the original hanger and it melted his bumper.

Alex told me he added his hanger to pull it up a little from dragging. only way it can be off is if your mid pipe is bent or you have real shitty exhaust work done to it. which usually happens after they replace a cat. but only used the one hanger it works fine.

    Sits just like this

On his original bumper it happen, then he bought new bumpers and thats when he did the hanger thing so his new bumper wouldn't melt. Don't know but it's fine now.

ALex's trd corolla had the orignial mounting points for the muffler chopped off before he got it so the people at the show welded on the makeshift hangers lol

I have Alex TRD corolla muffler....i think you have his original muffler that the hanger was chopped off of.

I can get you S side skirts for a good price. I don't sell fiberglass replicas anymore.

lol no u missed my correction, i meant the hangers attached to the subframe on his legit TRD corolla were chopped off, thats why the muffler shop had to spot weld a hook on the muffler
