I just made a 6 hour round trip to my nearest walmart for a battery for the focus. Also got a faucet adapter so i can use the pressure washer to clean the oil off the side of my engine.

Yinster I forgot to check the old battery.

Closest to me is 98km away, im in the boonies.Suprisingly I saw a nice white NSX close to home today.

I had to travel from the northern tip of the island almost to the southern tip.

Been thinking alot and looking at pics of retrofits im going to go with a set of morimoto mini h1s from theretrofitsource and hyluxtek ballasts with cnlight bulbs from ebay. The morimotos have a nice beam and cutoff
    [IMG]

I also disabled my DRLs, I tried to find a way to bypass the circuitry and run the lows at full power but no bueno.

My focus died today, the car is literally falling apart anyways. The starter solenoid died and the starter is on the back of the engine underneath the intake manifold. The nuts on the solenoid were too corroded so i couldnt even run wires to the front of the car.

It's not worth putting any more money into so its going to the junkyard.

That would screw things up as far as my planned projector retrofit goes.I'll be getting the morimoto mini h1 projectors which are pretty much a drop in affair with h4 headlights like the ones i have now. With the newer front end I would either have to do a quad projector setup (more money than I want to spend) or only have hid on one beam (I want it on both).

Thats if I go through with it, my mind changes a lot.

So it's been a while the weather been either raining, snowing or windy as fuck and I haven't done anything until today and what I did wasn't much.
I degreased the side of the engine, most of it came off I'll get the rest sometime.
I got the oil/grease off the alternator with some brake cleaner.
I put the alternator back on, put the new tensioner and accessory belt back on and bolted down the motor mount.

Tomorrow is supposed to be 'warm' 13c so hopefully I'll get some more work done.I have trailing arms to go on.

Today was fairly warm so I finished the mini-wire tuck off by puting loom on the wires.Next, I went to install the oxygen sensor onto the new exhaust pipe only to discover the bolts on the flange were spaced too far apart.Never fear though zip disk to the rescue!

It was a little warmer today, I put some copper gasket maker on the muffler flange and hand tightened the bolts. It should be set by tomorrow so I'll finish tightening it and adjust the muffler its a little lop sided and put the rear flexline to wheel cylinder lines on and new wheel cylinders.I'm trying to find the front part of the rear wheel archs, might have to see if a cali user will cut a set out and sell me them.

I'm thinking about replacing all the brake lines on the car and getting steel braided flex lines, they worked awesome on my old sonoma.
